Slow Cooker Chili – Cook and drain one pound of ground beef (or turkey) with 3/4 cup each chopped onion and green bell pepper. Move meat to slow cooker and add two 14 oz cans undrained diced tomatoes, 16 oz tomato sauce, 2 cans drained red kidney beans, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp black pepper, Cook on low 6-7 hours.
Bourbon Whiskey Meatballs – Mix together 1 cup ketchup, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey, 2 tsp lemon juice, 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce. Place two bags of frozen meatballs in a slow cooker or dutch oven and pour the prepared sauce over it, stirring to coat all the meatballs. Cook on high for one hour, then reduce heat to low and cook for an additional 1-2 hours.
