Attention residents of Colleyville! Have you penciled in Texas Night Out into your planner? If not, consider this a save the date! On Tuesday, October 7th you’re invited to come out to City Park located at 5205 Bransford Road between the hours of 6 PM to 9 PM! The focus behind Texas Night Out is to highlight the importance of public safety, and neighborhood partnerships! The event is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch- a program created in 1984.
Police and fire vehicles will be present in addition to associated equipment, and will be used in a number of various demonstrations that are aimed at the prevention of crime. A number of local organizations will come together and join for this important cause including the Colleyville police department, Colleyville fire department, homeowner associations, churches, social agencies, public-safety businesses, and Colleyville residents. Use this event as an opportunity to get to know your neighbors, public protectors, and other members of the community! It will be a fantastically fun night!
The night will round up at the conclusion of a softball game, in which the police and fire departments will compete against each other! Don’t forget to attend this amazing occasion!
